In this latest batch of episodes for Code Geass I'm getting this "tearing" in multiple episodes. It's always at the same places.
EDIT: Screenshot from episode 11 - 17 minutes 05 seconds. Duration ~05 seconds.
I don't know if it's due to the encode, because of my codecs, or both. It didn't happen at all with episodes 1-9. I'm using MPC with CCP codec packs, but I've blocked FFDshow video decoder from within MPC and using CoreAVC instead.

I went and checked both my file and the file on the server. Its not a codec or player related issue. The file is corupt from the download. I would check the crc to verify this first. If the crc is bad I would download that episode again.

How would I go about doing that? I know it has something to do with the numbers at the end of the filename, but every program I've downloaded asks to load a checksum file.

Ok first you want to download and install this program ( you will need to reboot after you install it) There are others though i find this to work the best.
http://rapidcrc.sourceforge.net/
Once you have rebooted. Right click on the video and choose " open with rapidcrc"
it will check the file and let you know.
